This is the reconstruction of the true face of Leonardo, which shows him without the long beard. The drawing shows Leonardo about 50 years old. This image is a comparison between the drawing on the left atributed to Melzi which is the only authentic drawing of Leonardos face made in his lifetime and my face reconstruction on the right. For the Melzi drawing I've used a photograph from Adolphe Braun made about the year 1870.

C'est la reconstruction de la vraie face de Léonard qui lui montre sans sa longue barbe. Ce dessin montre Léonard autour de 50 ans . Cet image est une comparaison entre le dessin de Melzi qui montre Léonard à gauche et ma reconstruction de la face de Léonard à droite. Le dessin de Melzi est le seul portrait de Léonard authentique. Pour le dessin de Melzi j'ai utilisé une photographie de Adophe Braun qui est fait autour ans 1870.
